R-784 - 07/24/2001 - APPRECIATION - Resolutions2001 —AP —R -784 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, DAVID W. PEQUET has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Plan Commission from June, 1993 through May, 2001; and WHEREAS, the said DAVID W. PEQUET has also served the community in many other ways including Chairman, Cub Scout Program; Vice Chairman, Boy Scouts American Western Council Corporate Sponsor Drive; Coach, Little League and Flag Football; as well as a member of the Executives Breakfast Club of Oak Brook, the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce and the Illinois Landmark Preservation Council; and WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of said service DAVID W. PEQUET has given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing materially thereby to the progress and well -being of the said Village and its citizens; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that the said DAVID W. PEQUET be and he hereby is commended for his faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude to the said DAVID W. PEQUET for his civic service as aforedescribed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the said DAVID W. PEQUET and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said Village.
