WHEREAS, STEPHEN C. ALLEN has faithfully and with dedication and distinction served
the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Plan Commission from June, 1996 through
July, 2001; and
WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of said service STEPHEN C.
ALLEN has given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing materially thereby to the
progress and well -being of the said Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful
service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook that the said STEPHEN C. ALLEN be and he hereby is commended for his
faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and
`,ratitude to the said STEPHEN C. ALLEN for his civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the
said STEPHEN C. ALLEN and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of
said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage-and Cool: Counties, Illinois, this 25th day of September 2001.
