UNVERZAGT has served as Village attorney for the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois since April, 1968, and WHEREAS, during said period of service, GEORGE W. UNVERZAGT has consistently exhibited a keen understanding and appreciation of the principles and practice of municipal law, and WHEREAS, GEORGE W. UNVERZAGT'S service has always been characterized by interest, dedication, loyalty, and pursuit of the highest standards of legal ethics, and WHEREAS, on November 3, 1970, GEORGE W. UNVERZAGT was elected as a Judge of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, and WHEREAS, GEORGE W. UNVERZAGT has tendered his resignation as Village Attorney effective November 30, 1970, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois that on behalf of all the residents of Oak Brook they do hereby extend their sincere thanks to GEORGE W. UNVERZAGT for his past years of service and wish him many years of success as he begins his important judicial career. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Administrator is hereby directed to transmit said Resolution to GEORGE W. UNVERZAGT, and, BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the official records and proceedings of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois.
