RESOLUTION 2001- SD -PP -R -792
A RESOLUTION APPROVING
THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF SUBDIVISION
KNOWN AS OAKLAND SUBDIVISION
(121 and 209 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523)
I WHEREAS, an application has been filed for approval of a preliminary plat entitled "Preliminary
Plat of Subdivision of Oakland Subdivision" and a concurrent request for certain variations to the
subdivision regulations of the Village; and

WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has considered the requested variations and preliminary plat;
and
WHEREAS, on October 15, 2001 the Plan Commission recommended approval of the preliminary
plat, subject to certain conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees considered the recommendations of the
Plan Commission and concur with the same, subject to certain modifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section • That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as
though fully set forth herein.
iSection • That the Preliminary Plat of Subdivision of Oakland Subdivision prepared by Spaceco,
Inc., dated 10/19/01, last revised 1117/01, be and is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:
(a) That the preliminary plat be revised as necessary and approved by the
Village Engineer; and
i
(b) That a variation from Section 14 -6 -2.13.1 of the Village Code is granted,
(which section requires that all lots abut a street) provided that the private
drive is constructed in substantial conformity with the preliminary plat and an
easement for access is granted in a form approved by the Village Attorney as
part of the final plat; and
(c) That all sidewalk and street light requirements are waived.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 27th day of November, 2001, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, according to a roll call vote as
follows:
Ayes: 'Trustees Caleel, Korin, Miologos and Savino
Nays: None
Absent: Trustee Craig
Abstain: None
