Kubiesa, Village Attorney RECOMMENDATION: That the Village Board approve the attached Resolution of Protest concerning a proposed DuPage County map amendment allowing a mini - warehouse on the Extra Space Development, LLC property east of York Road, north of I -88 and south of Roosevelt Road. This Resolution if passed before the County Board acts on the map amendment (on its Tuesday morning agenda), will cause the County Board vote requirement to jump from a simple majority to three quarters (3/4) vote of the County Board to pass the map amendment. There are also a number of variations going to the County Board along with the map amendment, and because of the negative vote of the Zoning Board of Appeals (5 to 1 against) those variations will also need a three quarters (3/4) vote of the County Board. A Special Meeting has been scheduled for the Village Board at 8:30 Monday morning to consider this Resolution. mimwarehouseM doc ,/ %Z KK- 1. 11 '3 0 MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER 8, 2003 SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK APPROVED AS WRITTEN ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2003.
