A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYEE
SALARY PLAN FOR NON-UNION EMPLOYEES FOR 1998
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article II (Pay Plan)of the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the Village of
Oak Brook(Appendix D to the Code of Ordinances),the Village Manager is charged with developing a uniform
and equitable pay plan with the approval of the Village Board;and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Village Manager that the position of Accounting Manager,
Salary Grade 8, be added to the 1998 Employee Salary Plan as set forth in the attached 1998 Salary Plan-
Non-Unron Employees,which is labeled Exhibit A and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS,this Board finds that the position of Accountant, Salary Grade 7, should be deleted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully
set forth herein.
Section 2: That the Village Board finds the attached 1998 Employee Salary Plan, as amended, (Exhibit
A)conforms with the guidelines set forth in the Salary Administration Plan which was previously adopted by the
Board on February 24, 1998, pursuant to Resolution 98-SAP-EX2-R-704.
Section 3: That the attached Employee Salary Plan for 1998,as amended, (Exhibit A) is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of September, 1998, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook^aunties, Illinois, according to a roll call vote as follows:
Ayes: Trustees Bartecki, Caleel, Kenny, McInerney, Savino and Shumate
