RECOMMENDATION: That the Vitlare Board pass the ordinances and resolution listed below.

Pursuant to your direction, I have drafted the following documents:
1) An Ordinance Amending Section VII(E)(2)Of The Zoning Ordinance
Relating To Special Uses in The R-3 District
This ordinance adds as a special use in the R-3 District so-called cluster-type single-family detached dwellings
intended for occupancy by persons 55 years of age or older on lots not less than 30 acres in area.
2) An Ordinance Granting A Special Use For Cluster-Type Housing In The R-3 District
At The Northeast Quadrant Of Oak Brook Road And Route 83
This ordinance grants a special use to allow development of cluster housing in the once-called Village Green
Subdivision(now called Forest Gate Resubdivision). Please note the various conditions set forth in Section 3 of the
ordinance.
3) Resolution Approving The Amended Preliminary Plat C4 Sube vision Known As The
Forest Gate Resubdivision
Please note the variations to the Subdivision Ordinance which are granted in Section 3 of this resolution.
I suggest that the ordinance vacating Surrey Drive and certain easements be done at the same time the Board accepts
the Final Plat.

Joe Persak, 20 Cambridge Drive,stated his main objection to the
proposed project is the project being placed adjacent to the Park
District baseball fields. The project would provide for ninety
residents only on the land as compared to childrr-n using all the open.
space.
