Mi. Michael E. Scheid has acquired the controlling interest in the APPROVE AN
John R. Mitchell Subdivision. The Final Plat of the Mitchell AMENDED FINAL
PLAT
Subdivision as approved by the Village Board in Resolution 98-SU- (3601 Adams Rd.)
R-658 on November 28, 1995, was never completed as the plat
remains unrecorded. Relative to the Mitchell Subdivision, a variation
was granted which provided relief from the stormwater retention
requirements.
Mr. Scheid is requesting approval of an amended Resolution which
accomplishes the following:
L Renaming the subdivision the Michael E. Scheid Subdivision.
2. Approval of a revised plat. The change is a minor adjustment to
the lot line between the two lots. Lot 1, previously 2.999 acres,
becomes 3.987 acres and Lot 2, previously 4.641 acres, becomes
3.653 acres. Both lots are still large and easily meet zoning bulk
requirements.
3. Resetting the time clock for completion of all subdivision
requirements to allow recordation of the plat to six-months from
the date of approval of the amended resolution.
Nothing has changed that would make this subdivision inappropriate.
Village Engineer Durfey and Village Attorney Martens have
reviewed and approved this request. The applicant was in attendance
of the meeting.
Motion by Trustee Savino, seconded by Trustee Kenny, to pass
Resolution 98-SD-FP-EXi-R-715, "A Resolution Amending 95-SD-
R-658 To Change The Name Of A Subdivision From John R.
Mitchell Subdivision To Michael E. Scheid Subdivision And
Approving An Amended Final Plat (3601 Adams Road, Oak Brook,
IL 60523)", as presented and waive the full reading thereof. ROLL
CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 5 - Trustees Caleel. Kenny, Nlclncnicy, Savino and
Shumate.
Nays: 0 - None.
Absent: I - Trustee Bartecki. lklotion carried.

Please allow this letter to serve as our official request for an extension of time to finalize a two-
parcel subdivision of the above referenced 7.9-acre property.
i At this time we have the property under contract with the seller, Mr. John Shutack, and have
( purchased the rights and interest of Mr.John Mitchell in the prior subdivision resolution No.95-SD-658.
!� Enclosed please find two copies each of our modified subdivision and a comparison plat of our
requested subdivision overlaid on the Mitchell plan. Also please find a representative foot print of our
building site on the western lot. As we have discussed over the last several months, our subdivision
plan adjusts one lot line,and increases the size of the western lot.
I am hopeful this matter can be resolved in a very short period of time and will provide any
assistance requested. It is our intention to dose on the property upon approval of lie revised
subdivision; however, our funding is only available until the end of 1998. Please provid, me with a
timeline of required approvals or schedule of anticipated Village meetings. Thank you for your patience
and help with this project.
