commission;

Section 2s That the powers of the plan commission are as fellawts
(1) To prepare and recommend to the corporate authorities
a comprehensive plan of public improvements looking teethe present
and future development of the municipality. .lifter its adoption by j
the corporate authorities, this plan shall be known as the Official
plan of that municipality. Thereafter from time to time the plan
commission may recommend changes in the Official P lan- This plan
may include roasonab'le requirements with reference to streets,
ah.eys and public grounds in subdivided land situated within the
corporate limits or in contiguous territory net mere than One and
one-half miles beyond the corporate limits and not included in any
mninicipalfty. These requirements shall be effective whenever this
unsubdivided land is subdivided attar the adoption of the official
plane
(2) To prepare and recommend to the corporate authorities

from time to time plans for specific improvements in pursuance
of the official plan.
(3) To give aid to the municipal officials charged: with
the direction of projects for improvements embraced within the
official plan, to further the making of these projects, and generally
to promote the realisation of the official plan.
(4) To exercise such other powers, germane to the powers
granted by this ordinance, ae maybe conferred by the corporate
authorities.
(5) Unless sooner terminated by action of the President
and/or Board of Trustees, any appointment to the plan commission
shall be for a period of two years from date of such appointment.
