AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE

1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of January 26, 2016 of the Village Board of Trustees and the Village
Manager Search Committee was called to order by President Gopal Lalmalani in the
Upper Level Conference Room of the Butler Government Center at 6:03 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Trustee Don Adler, Trustee John Baar, Trustee Michael Manzo, Trustee
Edward Tiesenga, President Gopal Lalmalani
ABSENT: Trustee Mark Moy
Trustee Asif Yusuf (arrived during Closed Session)
IN ATTENDANCE: Village Manager Rick Ginex, Assistant Village Manager/Finance
Director Sharon Dangles
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING – FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING
APPOINTMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 2c(1) OF THE ILLINOIS OPEN
MEETINGS ACT, RESPECTIVELY
Motion by Trustee Baar, seconded by Trustee Adler, to adjourn to closed meeting at 6:04
p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 4 – Trustees Adler, Baar, Manzo, Tiesenga
Nays: 0 – None
Abstain: 0 – None
Absent: 2 – Trustee Moy
Trustee Yusuf (arrived during Closed Session)
Motion carried.
4. RECONVENE – The closed meeting was adjourned and reconvened to open meeting at
6:59 p.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Baar, seconded by Trustee Manzo, to adjourn the Special Meeting of
the Board of Trustees at 6:59 pm. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
