AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN
STREETS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK,
DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oakbrook:
Section 1. Except in cases of emergency or on direction
of a duly authorized traffic officer, it shall be unlawful to park
a motor vehicle on or along the side of any of the following streeLS
or highways within the portions thereof hereinafter designated:
(a) F.A. Route 131 (Cermak i-wad) from a point .08
miles east of Spring Road to a point .36 miles east of York
e%oau,
(b) York Road from a point .45 miles south of
Cermak Road to a point . 19 miles north of Cermak Road.
Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation violat-
ing the provisions of this ordinance shall , upon conviction thereof,
be fined. not less than tine Dollar nor more than Two Hundred Doilars
for each offense.
Section 3. Tnis ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and. after its passage, approval and publication as by
statute in such cases made andprovided.
