PASSED AND APPROVED BY TKE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES ON THE 27th DAY -0`F MARCH, 1962
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oakbrook:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. G-36, being an ordinance
prohibiting parking on. certain. streets within the Village of Oakbrook,
DuPage County, Illinois , passed and approved by the I-resident and
Board of Trustees on the 27th day of March, 1962 , be and the same
is hereby repealed.
Section 2. That Section 32a of Ordinance No. G-10, being
an ordinance regulating traffic and vehicles in the Village of
Oakbrook, as from time to time amended , be and the same is hereby
amended , and as amended , shall read as follows:
1132a. Through Streets : Stop Intersections. That
the following named streets at the intersections herein.-
after described shall be designated as "Through Streets"
and it shall be unlawful to drive any vehicle onto or
across said Through Streets at -such intersections without
first bringing such vehicle to a complete stop:
(1) l6th Street at its intersection with Ernie
Pyle Drive.
(2) 16th Street at its intersection with the
North exit of the Oakbrook Center Parking
Lot.
(3) 16th Street at its intersection with Rose
Street.
(4) Spring Road at its intersection with harper
Road .
(5) Spring-' Road at its intersection. with the
east exit of the Oakbrook Center Parking
Lot .
(6) Spring Road at its intersection with Adams
Road..
(7) Spring Road at its intersection with Madison.

section with the American, Can Company exit.
(48) Cermak 'IL)Ioa.d (22n.d Street) at its inter-
section with Summit Avenue.
(49) 1!'Jinois State Highway No. 83 at its inter-
section with 15th Street.

(50) Illinois State 'Plighway NO. 83 at its
intersection with 35th Street.
Section 3. That the Village President is authorized and
directed to cause to be erected at such intersections appropriate
signs designating such intersections as "Stop" intersections.
Section 4. That Section 32b of � rdinance No. G-10, being

President and Board of Trustees on the 12th day of January, 1960 ,
as amended , be and the same is hereby amended , and as amended shall

lawful to drive any vehicle into the following intersections
without first bringing such vehicle to a complete stop :
( 1) Harger Road and Yorkshire Drive
(2) 31st Street and York Road
(3) 31-st Street and Summit Avenue
(4) 31st Street and Meyers Road
Section 5. That the Villa--e l-'resident is authorized and
directed to cause to be erected at such intersections appropriate
signs designating such intersections as "Four-way Stop" intersections .
Section 6. That ordinance No. 0-10 , being an ordinance
regulating traffic and vehicles in. the Village of "Jakbrook, DuPage
County, Illinois , passed and approved by the President and Board of
Trustees on the 12th day of January, 1-960, as from time to time
amended , be and the same is hereby further amended by adding after
paragraph 43 of Article V the following paragraph, which will be

1*43a.. "Parking, -r)rohibited on certain streets . 2xceT--t
in cases of emergency or on direction, of a duly authorized
101ice officer, it shall be unlawful to nark or stand a
motor vehicle on or along the side of any of the following
streets or highways within, the portions thereof hereinafter
designated:
(1) F. A. Route 131 (Cermak Road or 22nd Street)
on both sides from the easterly village limits
of the Village of Oakbrook to its intersection.

(2) York Road on both sides from the northerly
village limits of the Village of 1.)'akbrook
to its intersection with Soring Road.
Section 7. That the Village President is authorized and
directed to cause to be erected appropriate signs designating such
areas as "No 'ParkinC,o-11 areas .
Section 8. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed .
Section 9. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as by
statute in, such cases made and provided.
