Minutes of March 19, 2010 Regular Meeting
CALL TO ORDER -011
Meeting was called to order by President Kornfeind.

Board Members Present: President Kornfeind, Treasurer Bielawa, Secretary
Kelly Not present: Vice President Kaczmarczyk
PREVIOUS MINUTES -0812
Minutes of the previous meeting were read by Sec. Kelly. Motion to approve
by Sec. Kelly and seconded by President Kornfiend
TREASURER'S REPORT -0815
Current fund balances $2,073 in checking, $167,202 in savings as of 3/18/10.
Motion to approve treasurer's report by Secretary Kelly and seconded by
President Komfiend
OLD B USINESS /APPROVAL TO PURCH4SE -0820
The list of previously approved purchases was reviewed and updates were
provided. Motion to reapprove expired items by Treasurer Bielawa and
seconded by Sec. Kelly.
APPROVAL OF NEW BY-LAWS -0822
New By -laws were presented to reflect the new state laws regarding Foreign
Fire Tax Boards. New by -laws approved by membership.
ELECTION OF NEW BOARD MEMBERS -0825
New board members elected during the last meeting were instated with the
passage of the by -laws.
NEW BUSINESSIPROPOSED PURCHASES -0830
1) Approved $20,000 for the purchase of two (2) assisted intubation
devices. Devices will be tested by the members prior to the purchase.
2) Tabled a proposal to supplement the department's kitty fund.
3) Tabled a proposal for lettering and signage for both stations. A
committee will be formed to research and come up with designs.
4) Tabled a proposal for new washers and dryers at both stations, waiting
for more information.
5) Approved the payment of $3,750 to repair the TIC on 921.
6) Approve $4,000 for new mattresses at both stations. Current
mattresses will be looked over to see which ones need to be replaced.
7) Approved $500 to purchase maintenance parts for the stoves at both
stations.
