Meeting Minutes: January 8, 2004
The proposal includes a 3,000 seat pavilion and a lawn area that could
accommodate up to 10,000 patrons. The team anticipates an average of 5,000 to
6,000 per event. The season is envisioned to be from Memorial Day through mid
September with 30 -36 (possibly 40) events per season. The venue would require
up to 6,000 parking spaces. The types of acts envisioned are Nora Jones, Tony
Bennett, etc. If everything were to go as planned a spring 2005 opening is
envisioned.
The group present were impressed with the concept and thought that this venue
would be indeed an added attraction for them to use in attracting customers and
overnight stays in both the group and leisure travel areas.
