OLD BUSINESS:
1. A presentation was made by Denise Brownell. She presented marketing
concepts including several draft marketing pieces on boards for the Hotels
of Oak Brook. The two concepts "Who Couldn't Use a Little More
Green ?" and "What Happens When You Plan the Event of the Year Under
Budget ". The main focus of the pieces is to compare Oak Brook value to
O'Hare and Downtown Chicago. There would be limited distribution of
these marketing items to meeting planners. The Marketing Committee will
review the two ideas.
A leisure marketing piece was also presented which targeted holiday
shopping — "Wake -up, Dress, Eat, Shop ". The committee approved
moving forward with this piece.
