AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. G-17, BEING "AN ORDINANCE
DEFINING CERTAIN MISDEMEANORS WITHIN
THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK., DU PAGE COUNTY,
ILLINOIS, AND PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN
PENALTIES THEREFOR."
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. G-17, being "An Ordinance
defining certain misdemeanors within the Village of Oakbrook,
DuPage County, Illinois, and providing for certain penalties
therefor," passed and approved by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook on the 11th day of October,
1960, be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following,
which shall be known and designated as Section 40-a thereof:
"Section 40-a. Control of Dogs, Any person shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor, who shall:
(1) Permit any dog to go upon the lawn or other
private property of any but the owner thereof, with-
out the express or implied permission of the owner of
said property or of the person in lawful possession
thereof Cq f f
(2) Permit any dog to run at large within the
Village at any time. For the purpose of this
paragraph a dog shall be deemed running "at large"
only in those cases where such dog is permitted on
any street, alley, sidewalk or other public place
without restraint of a chain, leash or other restrain-
ing device, or unless under the direct supervision and
control of a human being upwards of the age of six
years. Dogs engaged in game hunting or other sporting
events that are accompanied by a human being upwards
4 of the age of six years shall not be deemed dogs
running "at large. "
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
as by statute in such cases made and provided.

Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook this day of

question of adopting Division 2. 1 of Article 10 of the Illinois

IV FINANCIAL
A. Treasurer's Report
Village Treasurer Van Dyke presented his report for the month of
December, 1966, showing "Conch on Deposit" at the end of the month
of $59,355.30 in the Corporate Account and $4,023.21 in the Road
and Bridge Fund. kFunds deposited IM U. S. Treasury Bills and Savings
Accounts total $252,406.40. )
Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Howell. . .
That the treasurer's report for the month of December, 1966, be
approved as submitted .
