AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY EAST OF SPRING ROAD
FROM "R-1" SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO CLASS
i "ORA-1" OFFICE-RESEARCH-ASSEMBLY DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois :
Section 1. That certain ordinance passed and approved by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, on the
22nd day of March, 1966 , entitled "The Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Oakbrook, Illinois, of 1966" , as amended, be, and the
said ordinance is hereby again amended so that the classification
and zoning of the property described as:
That part of the Northeast quarter of Section 26, Township
39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner
of said Section 26; thence South 89° 37' 38" West along
the centerline of 22nd Street (Cermak Road) , a distance of
48 feet; thence South 00 07 ' 59" East, a distance of 150.02
feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 in Armour and Company
Assessment Plat, recorded February 14, 1962, as Document No.
i R62-4171; thence continuing South 00 07 ' 59" East along the .
East line of said Lot 1 and said line extended, a distance
of 652.88 feet to a point of curvature; thence Southwesterly -
along an arc of a circle, having a radius of 496 feet, being
convex to the Southeast, the chord thereof having a bearing
of South 20 35 ' 34" West and a length of 47.18 feet, an arc-
distance of '47-. 19 feet to a point on a North line of the
present R-1 zoning district of the Village of Oakbrook, as
shown on official map of zoning districts of the Village of
Oakbrook dated March 22 , 1966 , and the place of beginning;
thence continuing Southwesterly along said Arc of a circle,
having a radius of 496 feet, being convex to the Southeast,
the chord thereof having a bearing of South 47 0 '36 ' 08"
West and a length of 667. 42 feet, an arc-distance of 732.09
feet to a point of tangency, which is located on a line 100
feet North, measured at right angles, and parallel with the
North line of Lot 8 in plat of lands of F. 0. and J. F. ---
Butler, Town of York, DuPage County, Illinois, recorded
February 13, 1912 as Document No. 107 037; thence South
890 53 ' 10" West along last mentioned parallel line, a
distance of 657.60 feet to a point of curvature; thence
Southwesterly along an arc of a circle, having a radius of
1460. 58 feet, being convex to the Northwest, the chord,
+ thereof having a bearing of South 83° 58' 14" West and a
length of 301. 06 feet, an arc-distance of 301. 59 feet to
the Northwesterly line of said present R-1 zoning district
of the Village of Oakbrook; thence North 550 40' 22" East,
847.77 feet along said Northwesterly line of said present
R-1 zoning district to a point on the South line of Lot 1
of the Chicago Bridge and Iron Company Assessment Plat,
recorded February 14 , 1962 as Document No. R62-4170; thence
North 890 37 ' 38" East along part of the South line of said
Lot 1 and along the North line of said present R-1 zoning
district, a distance of 749 .77 feet to the place of begin-
ning, containing 9.919 acres more or less, all in DuPage
County, Illinois,

be and the said classification or zoning of said property is --
hereby changed and reclassified from "R-1" Single Family Detached
Residence District to Class "ORA-1" Office-Research-Assembly
District under said ordinance as so amended, and the zoning
district map, as amended, *of the Village of Oakbrook be and the
same is hereby further amended and changed so that the above-
' described property shall be and appear in said "ORA-1" Office-
Research-Assembly District.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. -
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after
its passage and approval.
