ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMI-MING ORDINANCE NO. G-11, AS MENDED,_
BY ORDINANCE NO. G-160, REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION,
ALTERATION, REPAIR AND CONVERSION OF BUILDINGS WITHIN
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DUPAGE & Cook Counties, Illinois
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook have established certain Rules and Regulations for the Construction,
Alteration, Repair and Conversion of Buildings within said Village by Ordi-
nance No. G-11 and,
M EREAS, the aforesaid Rules and Regulations were amended,
and restated as amended, by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook in Ordinance No. G-160 and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem the passage
of this Ordinance to be in the best interest and in futherance of the general
welfare of the Village of Oak Brook.
NUYV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage& Cook Counties, Illinois;
SECTION 1: The provisions of the Preamble herein before set forth are re-
stated herein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2: The first lines of subsection A and B of the first paragraph of
Section VIII of Ordinance No. G-11, as amended by Ordinance No. G-160,
are hereby amended to read as follows:
"A. That that portion of the Chicago Building Code copyright
1976..."
"B. That that portion of the Chicago Building Code copyright
1976. .."
SECTION 3: The fourth line of the second paragraph of Section VIII of Ordinance
'o. G-16031 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Chicago Building Code copyright 1976 which has heretofore
been published. . ."
SECTION 4: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook
which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed
to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 5: If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Ordinance.
SECTION. 6: This Ordinan ce shall be in full force and effect- from and after its
passage and approval as by statute in such case made and provided.
