AN ORDINANCE A14ENDING ORDINANCE NO. G-177, THE TRAFFIC CODE OF TIME
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, AS AIMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
DESIGNATION OF ADDITIONAL FIRE LANES
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook have heretofore enacted Ordinance G-177 being an Ordinance
regulating traffic within the Village of Oak Brook, which Ordinance has
from time to time been amended; and
CHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook deem it advisable and in .the best interests and in further-
ance of the general welfare and safety of the citizens of the Village
that said Ordinance G-177 be further amended to designate additional
fire lanes; and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Vehicle Code, Chapter 95'-1 of the
Illinois Revised Statutes, specifically authorizes local authorities
to regulate and restrict parking in the interest of the public welfare
and safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove
set forth are hereby incoproated herein as though fully set forth
herein.
Section 2: That in accordance with the provisions of Section
1-1302 of Ordinance G-177, Schedule XV thereof, entitled "Designated
Fire Lanes", is hereby amended by adding thereto the following addi-
tional designated fire lanes as detailed in Exhibit "A" attached here-
to:
BUSINESS ADDRESS AREA OF FIRE LANE
A) Arthur Rubloff Company 1) The main drive adjacent to
2001 Spring Road the North side of the
building.
2) The North/South drive from
Harger Road to the Northeast
corner of the building. -
B) Arthur Rubloff Company 1) The main drive adjacent to

Section 3: That the appropriate officers and employees of
the Village are hereby authorized and directed to post such signs in
conformance with the provisions of Section 2 of this Ordinance to
implement the provisions of this Ordinance.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, publication in pamphlet
form and the posting of appropriate signs as directed in Section 3.
hereof.
Section 5: That all Ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
Section 6: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form as required by law.
