G 283 AN ORDINANCE AMENTDING SECTION S- 7 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCIiS OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK AND INCREASING BUILDING PERMIT FEES WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook have heretofore established certain building permit fees as enumerated in Section 5- 7 of the Code of Ordinances of said Village; and WHEREAS, current review of said fees conclusively establishes a need to increase said fees to compensate the said Village for its increasing costs in providing building plan review and inspection services ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows : Section 1 : That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein. Section 2 : That Section 5- 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook entitled ' Fee Schedule" be, and is hereby amended to read as follows : Section 5- 7 - FEE SCHEDULE: Before a permit required by th chapter is issued, the building official shall collect a fee calculated according to the following schedule. Volume computation: Volume shall be computed on the exterior dimensions of the building and shall Ln-clude all space above the lowest level of the foundation wall and to the highest point of the main roof and to include all projections . Upon such requests the President and Board of Trustees may by motion waive any such fees imposed pursuant to this Section . Section 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict : Section 4 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval. and publication all as required by lava. Section S : That the Village Clerk is hereby authoried and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form as required by lava.
