MHBRSAS, an application hap been filed requesting curtain amendments to
Section VIII(C) and t�eation VIII(D) of the Zoning Ordinance, of the Village of
Oak Brook which sections pertain to regulations in the B-1 and 5-2 Zoning
District$, respectivelyt and
MOMWAS, a public hearing on such application was conducted by the
(toning Board of Appeals on April 6, 1953, pursuant to due and appropriate
legal noticel and
MHERXAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals made a recommendation that certain

Section It That the provisions of the preamble hereinabovo not forth
are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Sect. ions That Section VIII(C)12) of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended by adding thereto subparagraph
(h) to read as follows:
"(h) Office supply stores."
Section 3s, That Section VII1(C)(4) of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Oak Brook be and is hereby amended to read as follows,
(4) 'Yards,
(a) No structure, other than access drives and paved parking areae and
signs as provided in Section VIII(C)(6)(h) of this ordinance,
shall be *rooted or maintained within the following distances,
(1) 60 :test frM the right-of-way of any, public streetr

be considered as a single zoning lots more than one (1) building
or structure may, however, be erected thereon; and the only front,
side and rear yards that need to be observed are those provided
for in paragraph (a) above."
section 4t That section VIII(C)(5)(f) of the zoning Ordinance of the
Village Of oak Brook, be and is hereby amended to read as f'ollow*$

inserting a new subparagraph (i) to read as followert
"(i) in a shopping district containing sore than ton acres, two ground

intersection of two or more streets, it shall have its lowest
level not less than eight feet above ground grsde, and Wall not

village of oak Rook; be and is hereby amended to .read as follows$
"(4) Yards:
(3) SO feet from any other district boundary, Oxcept when
adjacent to a 8-1 District, and except that when adjacent to
a residence district boundary line, then not within 150 feet
of such boundary linel provided however, that the area
between a building and the right-of-way of any street or
other district boundary may be occupied by drives, drive-in
banking facilities, vehicular parking, sidewalks,
landscaping and similar facilities, except that paved areas
shall not be located closer than 40 feet to any lot in a
residence district."
Section 7s That this ordinance shall be in full force and offset from
and aft. pa sass ge, approval and publication in pamphlet ,fozm in the manner
provided by law.
Section St That the village clerk is authorised and directed to publish
this ordinance in pamphlet form.
