ORDINANCE 94-AL-G- 531
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-23
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
AND AMENDING THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED LIQUOR LICENSES
WHEREAS, Section 3-23 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak
Brook authorizes certain numbers of liquor licenses; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village deem it
advisable and in the best interest and in furtherance of- the general welfare
of the citizens of the Village that the Code of Ordinances of the Village be
amended by revising the number of such permitted licenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That subsection (1) of Section 3-23 of the Code of
Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Limitation on Numbers.
The number of liquor licenses authorized to be issued in each
classification is:
(1) Class A-1, sixteen (16) licenses.
(2) Class A-2, four (4) licenses.
(3) Class A-3, two (2) licenses.
(4) Class A-4, one (1) license.
(5) Class B, one (1) license.
(6) Class C, two (2) licenses.
(7) The number of Class D licenses shall not be limited;
(8) Class E, one (1) license.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from

and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
