AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
WHEREAS, on May 15, 1998, an application was filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Oak
Brook requesting that certain properties be rezoned from ORA-1 to 0-4 as depicted in the attached map;
and
WHEREAS, on May 26, 1998, the corporate authorities referred the application to the Plan
Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals for public hearings; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 15, 1998, the Plan Commission recommended to the Village
Board that the application be approved; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Zoning Board of Appeals on July 7 and August 4,
1998, pursuant to due and appropriate legal notice; and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing on August 4, 1998, the Zoning Board of Appeals made certain
findings and recommended to the Village Board that the application be approved; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees concur with the Plan Commission and Zoning
Board of Appeals and find that it is in the best interests of the Village that certain parcels of property within
the Village of Oak Brook be rezoned from ORA-1 to 0-4.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as
though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: The zoning map of the Village of Oak Brook is hereby amended to change the
designation from ORA-1 to 0-4 for the property legally described as follows:
Parcel 1: That part of Lots 2, 3 and 4 of Hoehne's Assessment Plat situated in the
Southwest '/.of Section 24, Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, DuPage County, Illinois, being more fully described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southwest%of said Section 24; thence
North 0 degrees, 15 minutes, 24 seconds West along the East line of the Southwest%of
said Section 24, a distance of 947.71 feet; thence South 89 degrees, 37 miunutes, 56
seconds West along a line which is parallel to and 150.0 feet Northerly of the South line of
Lots 2 and 3 of Hoehne's Assessment Plat(as measured parallel with the Easterly line of
said Lots 2 and 3), a distance of 75.0 feet for a point of beginning; thence continuing
South 89 degrees, 37 minutes, 56 seconds West along the previously described line, a
distance of 691.70 feet; thence South 0 degrees, 23 minutes, 35 seconds East, a distance
of 234.86 feet to a point of curvature; thence Southerly along a curve, convex Easterly,
and having a radius of 304.66 feet, a distance of 292.45 feet to a point of tangency;
thence South 54 degrees, 36 minutes, 25 seconds West, a distance of 37.50 feet; thence
North 89 degrees, 37 minutes, 56 seconds East along a line which is parallel to and
356.0 feet Southerly of the South line of Lots 2 and 3 of Hoehne's Assessment Plat(as
measured parallel with the Easterly line of said Lots 2 and 3), a distance of 851.12 feet to

a point which is 75.0 feet Westerly of the East line of the Southwest'/.of said Section 24;
thence North 0 degrees, 15 minutes, 24 seconds West along a line which is 75.0 feet
West of and parallel to the East line of the Southwest'/.of said Section 24, a distance of
506.0 feet to the point of beginning, in DuPage County, Illinois.
Also described as Lot 1 in Babson Bros. Co.Assessment Plat, being in part of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded on November 6, 1963 as
Document R63-40696 in DuPage County, Illinois. Property Address: 2100 York Road,
Oak Brook, IL, PIN 06-24-308-001.
Parcel 2: Lot 3 of Butler Company-M-1, Inc.Assessment Plat No. 3, recorded July 8,
1964 as Document R64-24070, being a part of the Southwest%of Section 24, Township
39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Illinois, being
more fully described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southwest
'/.of said Section 24; thence South 89 degrees 36 minutes 25 seconds West, along the
South line of the Southwest 1//4 of said Section 24, said line also being the center line of
22"d Street, a distance of 1119.0 feet; thence North 00 degrees, 23 minutes, 35 seconds
West, a distance of 83.72 feet to a point on the North right of way line of 22"d Street for a
point of beginning, said point also being on the Easterly right of way line of a dedicated
road (Document R62-7996); thence continuing North 00 degrees, 23 minutes, 35
seconds West along said Easterly right of way line of a dedicated road a distance of 98.37
feet to a point of curvature; thence Northeasterly along said Easterly line of a dedicated
road being a curve convex Northwesterly and having a radius of 238.66 feet, a distance of
229.10 feet to a point of tangency;thence North 54 degrees, 36 minutes 25 seconds East
along said Easterly right of way line of a dedicated road, a distance of 112.50 feet to the
Southwest corner of Babson Bros. Co.Assessment Plat(Document R63-40696);thence
North 89 degrees, 37 minutes, 56 seconds East along the Southerly line of said Babson
Bros. Co.Assessment Plat, a distance of 851.12 feet to a point on the West right of way
line of York Road; thence South 00 degrees, 15 minutes, 24 seconds East along said
West right of way line of York Road, a distance of 301.70 feet; thence South 44 degrees,
36 minutes, 25 seconds West a distance of 91.99 feet to a point on said North right of way
line of 22nd Street; thence South 89 degrees, 36 minutes, 25 seconds West along said
North right of way line of 22nd Street, a distance of 630.65 feet to a point; thence North 88
degrees, 57 minutes, 39 seconds West along said North right of way line of 22"d Street, a
distance of 348.75 feet to the point of beginning, in DuPage County, Illinois. Property
address: 2122 York Road, Oak Brook, IL, PIN 06-24-308-002.
Parcel 3: Lot A in Sunbeam Corp.2nd Assessment Plat, being part of the Southeast'/.of
Section 24, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according
to the plat thereof recorded October 5, 1964 as Document R64-37390, in DuPage County,
Illinois. Property Address: 2001 York Road, Oak Brook, IL, PIN 06-24-403-003.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the"Official Map of Zoning
Districts of the Village of Oak Brook" in accordance with the map attached hereto, labeled Exhibit
A, and made a part hereof.
Section 4: All ordinances, rules and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook which are in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict and
only as they apply to the specific properties hereinbefore described.
Section 5: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law.

Section 6: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this ordinance in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
