1. CALL TO ORDER:
The Special Meeting of May 29, 2015 of the Board of Trustees of the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund was
called to order by President Vel Torlo at 6:25 p.m. at the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Clubhouse, 800 Oak
Brook Road, Oak Brook, Illinois.
2. ROLL CALL:
The roll was called with the following persons
PRESENT: President Vel Torlo, Vice President Alan Feldman, Trustee Hitesh Patel, Trustee Benjamin
Kadolph
ABSENT: Secretary Edward Caspers (arrived shortly after roll call)
IN ATTENDANCE: Terese Krafcheck and Jim Hrbak of MB Financial, Courtney Cervantes and Jeff
Kowalczyk of Lowery Asset Consulting, Pension Clerk Rose Kane, and numerous active and retired
pension members.
3. COMMENTS AND INTRODUCTIONS:
President Torlo welcomed everyone to the dinner. Police Chief James Kruger invited the retirees to stop
by the department.
4. DINNER:
Meeting was recessed for dinner.
Trustee Kadolph exited the meeting at approximately 7:00 p.m.
5. QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD:
Lowery Asset Consulting and MB Financial representatives talked briefly about what they do for the
pension fund. They and Board members fielded questions from the retirees present.
Trustee Patel exited the meeting at approximately 8:00 p.m.
6. ADJOURNMENT:
Motion by President Torlo, seconded by Vice President Feldman, to adjourn the Special Meeting of
the Board of Trustees of the Police Pension Fund at 8:10 p.m. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
