AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK,
ILLINOIS, BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF SAID VILLAGE ON THE
17th DAY OF NOVEMBER, A. D. 1959,
AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the owners of the following described real estate
have filed with the Village of Oakbrook a petition for the rezoning
of certain portions thereof; and
WHEREAS, thew aid petition has been considered by the Plan
Commission of the Village of Oakbrook, which has recommended that the
said rezoning be granted; and
' WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has conducted a public
hearing on said petition and has recommended that said rezoning be
granted; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Trustees that all of
the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook
and the Illinois Revised Statutes to such matters pertaining have
been complied with in all respects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois: .
Section 1: That for purposes of clarification the real
estate herein involved shall be designated as Parcel A and Parcel B,
and such parcels are described as follows:
Parcel A Part of the Northeast quarter of Section 25, Township 39
j North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner
of the Northeast quarter of said Section 25, also being
the intersection of centerlines og York Road and 22nd
Street (Cer.aak Road); thence S 00 00100" E along the West
line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 25, also
being the centerl;ne of York Road, a distance of 1448.64
feet; thenc8 S 90 00'00" E a distance of 198.43 feet;
then&e N 45 00109" E a distance of 80.00 feet; then&e
S 45 00100" E a distance of 22.80 feet; hence N 60 30100"
E a distance of 540.00 feet; thence N 00 00100" E a distance
of 1145.54 feet to a point on the North line of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 25, also beinggothe centerline of
22nd Street (Cermak Roa2P); thence S 89 44142" W alongg the
North line of the Northeast quarter of said Section Z5, a
distance of 741.12 feet to the place of beginning, all in
DuPage County, Illinois.

Section 2: That .portion of the aforedescribed property
which is included in Parcel A aforesaid, which is not likewise included .
in Parcel B aforesaid, be and the same is hereby rezoned from " •1/2
Residential" to 11B-3 Business'
Sect 3: That portion of the property ,
Parcel in
Parcel B aforesaid which is not also described in Parcel A, be and

the same is hereby rezoned from "B-3 Business" to 11R-1/2 Residential".
Section 4 That upon the passage and approval of this
amendatory ordinance the area zoned "B-311 at the southeast corner
of York Road and 22nd Street within the Village of Oakbrook shall be
legally described as such legal description appears in Parcel- A
aforesaid.
Section 5: That the official zoning map of the. Village of..
Oakbrook be changed to comply with this ordinance.
Section 6s„ That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance be and the some are hereby repealed.
