1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of May 18 , 2016 of the Village Board of Trustees was called to
order by President Gopal Lalmalani in the Upper Level Conference Room of the Butler
Government Center at 5:33 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Trustee Don Adler, Trustee John Baar, Trustee Michael Manzo, Trustee
Edward Tiesenga, Trustee Mark Moy, President Gopal Lalmalani
ABSENT: None
IN ATTENDANCE: Village Manager Rick Ginex, Assistant Village Manager/Finance
Director Sharon Dangles
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING – FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING
APPOINTMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 2c(1) OF THE ILLINOIS OPEN
MEETINGS ACT, RESPECTIVELY
Motion by Trustee Yusuf, seconded by Trustee Manzo, to adjourn to closed meeting at
5:34 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 6 – Trustees Adler, Baar, Manzo, Moy, Tiesenga, Yusuf
Nays: 0 – None
Abstain: 0 – None
Absent: 0 – None
Motion carried.
Trustee Yusuf exited during closed session at approximately 7:25 p.m., and did not return.
4. RECONVENE – The closed meeting was adjourned and reconvened to open meeting at
8:47 p.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Manzo, seconded by Trustee Tiesenga, to adjourn the Special Meeting
of the Board of Trustees at 8:48 pm. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
