Brechin, Village Manager RE: Proposed Annexation of Oak Brook Club Subdivision The attached ordinance has been prepared for your consideration at the direction of President Cerne in furtherance of the Village Board's discussion of this issue at its Committee-of-the-Whole meeting of June 9, 1986. Prior to the action on the ordinance, it would be appropriate that each of the Trustees present note for the minutes their acknowledgment of receipt of Notice of the Special Meeting. It is anticipated that we will be presented with resolutions expressing the willingness of the Oak Brook Club to be annexed in this fashion. Copies of those communica- tions are attached. Our information indicates that Lots 1 through 5 in Oak Brook Club Subdivision contain approximately 316 residential units and five buildings of 48 units each. Twenty-five percent of these are one-bedroom units and seventy-five percent are two-bedroom units. It is estimated that the residential population of this area is between 600 and 700 people. The entire residential development is on a site of approximately 25 acres representing approximately 12.6 dwelling units per acre. Lot 6 contains a commercial three story office building of approximately 22,000 square feet on a site totaling approximately 1.2 acres, thus representing a .42 F.A.R. If the Village Board deems it appropriate to annex the property, we will thereupon investigate alternative zoning categories which might appropriately fit these areas.
