RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move to approve Resolution R-1577, which
approves a Final Plat to consolidate the Christ Church properties located at 501
Oak Brook Road,3202,3212,3222 and 3306 York Road into one(1) parcel.
Background/History:
At its June 14, 2016 meeting, the Village Attorney was directed to prepare the necessary
resolution granting approval of a final plat of subdivision to consolidate the Christ
Church of Oak Brook properties located at 501 Oak Brook Road, 3202, 3212, 3222 and
3306 York Road.
Recommendation:
Approve Ordinance R-1577.

CHRIST CHURCH OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
501 Oak Brook Road, 3202, 3212, 3222 and 3306 York Road

WHEREAS, at its meeting on April 18, 2016, the Plan Commission completed its review and
deliberations on an application by Christ Church of Oak Brook("Owner's the owner of the 24.3178 acres
located at 501 Oak Brook Road, 3202, 3212, 3222 and 3306 York Road ("Subject Property'l, seeking
approval of a final plat to consolidate("Final Plat of Consolidation')the parcels into one lot; and
WHEREAS, the Subject Property is legally described as follows:

WHEREAS, the Subject Property is currently improved with the Christ Church of Oak Brook
facility, a detached garage and parking lot; and
WHEREAS, by a vote of 4 to 0,the Plan Commission recommended approval of the request for a
final plat of consolidation for the Subject Property; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have reviewed the recommendations of
the Plan Commission and deem the final plat of consolidation for the Subject Property, as set forth below,
to be in the best interests of the Village;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:

Section 1. Recitals. The foregoing recitals are incorporated herein by reference as though
fully set forth herein.
Section 2. Approval of Final Plat of Consolidation.
A. Approval of Final Plat. Subject to and contingent upon the conditions set forth in Section 3 of
this Resolution, the final plat of consolidation prepared by V3 Companies of Illinois, Ltd.,
dated December 12, 2015, and attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A ("Final Plat of
Consolidation"), is hereby approved.
B. Authorization and Execution. The Village President, Clerk, and other appropriate Village
officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute and seal, on behalf of the Village, the
Final Plat of Consolidation and the customary certifications indicating such approval.
C. Recordation. Upon the execution of the Final Plat of Consolidation by all required parties,the
Village Clerk is hereby directed to record the Final Plat of Consolidation with the Recorder of
Deeds of DuPage County, Illinois, and the Village Clerk will then be authorized and directed
to assess against and collect from the Owner any costs in connection with those actions and
this Resolution.
Section 3. Conditions. The approvals granted in Section 2 of this Resolution are hereby
expressly subject to and contingent upon each of the following conditions:
A. That the Subject Property shall be subject to the terms, provisions and conditions of
Ordinance S-1467, granting approval of variations and subject to the terms, provisions and
conditions of Ordinance S-1468, granting a special use;
B. That all previously approved special uses and variations granted to this property will remain
in full force and effect;
C. That the Subject Property shall be subject to full stormwater compliance in the event of any
future development;
D. The signature of the Village Engineer on the Final Plat of Consolidation; and
E. The Owner and all subsequent owners of the Subject Property shall comply with all
requirements of law, including without limitation, federal, state, and local laws, ordinances,
resolutions, and regulations, relating to the Subject Property.
Section 4. Severability. If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Resolution
shall be held invalid,the invalidity thereof shall not affect any of the other provisions of this Resolution.
Section 5. Effective Date. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon passage and
approval in the manner provided by law.
