AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-4 -1 OF CHAPTER 10
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
RELATING TO BUILDING REGULATIONS AND FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have heretofore established rules and
regulations for the construction, alteration, repair and conversions of building within the Village of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, said provisions have been codified as Chapter 10 of the Village Code of the Village of Oak
Brook; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees deem the amendment of said regulations to be in
the best interest of the public health, safety and welfare; and
WHEREAS, 65 ILCS 5/1 -3 -2 specifically authorizes the adoption of codes and public records by
reference; and
WHEREAS, the codes and portions thereof herein adopted have been filed in the office of the Village
Clerk and available for public use and inspection and have been on file for a period in excess of 30 days prior to
the passage of this ordinance as required by Section 5/1 -3 -2 of Chapter 65 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble heremabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully
set forth herein.
Section 2: That Title 10, Chapter 4, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak Brook, entitled
"Fees ", is amended to read as set forth in the attached exhibit labeled Exhibit A and incorporated herein by
reference.
Section 3: The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication in pamphlet form in the manner required by law.

10 -4-1: FEE AND BOND SCHEDULE: Before a permit required by
this Title is issued, the
Director of Community Development shall collect a fee

C. Certain Entities Permitted to Request Waiver. Any governmental unit or any charitable

Section. Upon such requests, the Village President and the Board of Trustees may, by motion,
