Dear Bill:
Enclosed is a copy of the revised installment contract and ordinance
authorizing the installment purchase of the improvements to the Village Library.
I have not yet received the amortization schedule to be inserted in Paragraph 2
of the installment contract, but anticipate receiving the same by the time of
the Board meeting on Tuesday. I expect at this time to be in a position to
submit to the Board the final documentation for consideration, action, and
execution. I thought you would like to include copies of the enclosed in
the distribution packages to the Corporate Authorities.
As indicated to you on the telephone, I require the following information
relative to this project:
1. General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, AIA
Document A201, copyright 1970, pp. 1 through 18.
2. Supplementary Conditions of the Contract, pp. 2-1 through
2-11.
3. Specifications, Sections 3 through 14.
4. Drawings, Sheets Al through A4; M1 through M4; pl
through p3; and E1 through E6.
5. Addenda No. 1 dated May 1, 1975.
6. Addenda No. 2 dated June 13, 1975.

A. Water Rate and Connection Charge Ordinance (continued)
Water Main Extension. Discussion was held relative to the cost
of providing water mains in existing residential areas which
are not presently served by any system and the cost of said im-
provements to be shared by the Resident and the Village as
Private/Public benefit.
Trustee Congreve moved - seconded by Trustee Philip. ..
In all existing residential areas where Water Main extensions
are made , the average cost per lot is to be shared by the
Resident/Village on the basis of Private Benefit-60% / Public
Benefit-40% .
Roll call vote: Ayes : Trustees Congreve and Philip
Nayes : Trustees Baschen, Brown, Cerne , Glaves, and
President Howell
MOTION NOT CARRIED.
Trustee Brown moved -
- That a $1,000 .00 Water Main Extension charge per lot be made,
representing a Private/Public Benefit of 38%/62% of average cost.
For lack of Second - MOTION NOT CARRIED.
Trustee Cerne moved - seconded by Trustee Baschen. . .
- In all existing areas where Water Main Extensions are made ,
the average cost per lot is to be shared by the Resident/Village
on the basis of Private Benefit-45% '/ 'Public Benefit-55

Ordinance S-338 authorizing an installment contract for purchase
of improvements to the Oak Brook Library building.

To adopt Ordinance S-338 as presented.
