C. Aesthetics Committee Resolution R-45 (continued)
President Mohlman recommended the appointment of Mr. Wilson Connell
as Chairman of the Oak. Brook Committee on Aesthetics.
Trustee Howell moved - seconded by Trustee Roseman. . .
That the board endorse the recommendation' of President Mohlman
and that Mr. Connell be so informed.
Voice Vote - all in favor. So ordered.
President Mohlman also appointed Trustees Edward K. O'Brien,
R. G. Rossman and Fred Hayes to serve on this committee. One
resident of ®alp Brook will be chosen to complete this
d9 mmittee.
D. P st Office Resolution R-46
President Mohlman read resolution R-46 stating that the Village
of Oak Brook will go on record as favoring an application for a
post office located within the village of Oak Brook.
Trustee Barton moved - seconded by Trustee Howell. . .
That the above resolution be adopted by the village board.
Roll Call Vote - Ayes m> Trustees Barton, Hovey, Hayes, Howell,
O'Brien, Roseman and Pres , Mohlmao.
Noyes . None So ordered.
E. Hull Lane Vacation Ordinance
President Mohlman read an ordinance vacating a certain street;
namely, dull Lane, in the Village of Oak Brook.
Trustee O'Brien moved 4 seconded by Trustee Hovey. . .
That the move ordinance be adopted by the village board.
Roll Call Vote: Ayes - Trustees Hovey, Mayes, O'Brien and
President Mohlman.
Noyes ® Trustees Howell and Roseman.
Abstainer G Trustee Barton. Motion not carried.
IV OLD BUSINESS
A. Fire Degartment Meeting Conversion
Trustee Howell reported on the proposed heating conversion
of all village- buildings. . Further study Will be made and
a recommendation will be submitted at the next.,board meeting.
B. Proposed o Amendment
Mr. Norman Steenhof, Chairman of the Oak Brook Zoning Board
of Appeals, presented forty copies of the latest revision of
the proposed coning amendment for distribution to the- Village
Board, Zoning Board, Plan Commissiba, Civic Associations.-and
Village Hall use. Copies will be available id the Village
Hall for any resident's perusal.
It was unanimously decided to conduct a special meeting on
Monday, Februay 21st at 7:30 P. M. to discuss this matter
further.
