1. CALL TO ORDER:
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund was called
to order by President Birdsall at 6:09 p.m. in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Butler
Government Center, 1200 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, Illinois.
2. ROLL CALL:
The roll was called with the following persons
PRESENT: President Vel Torlo, Secretary Alan Feldman, Trustee Edward Caspers,
Trustee Hitesh Patel, Trustee Ben Kadolph
ABSENT: None
IN ATTENDANCE: Pension Clerk Rose Kane
3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS:
Pension Clerk Kane requested a motion from the floor for nominations for President.
Motion by Alan Feldman, seconded by Hitesh Patel, to nominate Vel Torlo for President of
the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
No further nominations for President.
Pension Clerk Kane requested a motion from the floor to elect Vel Torlo President.
Motion by Edward Caspers, seconded by Alan Feldman, to elect Vel Torlo President of the
Oak Brook Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
President Torlo requested a motion from the floor for nominations for Vice President.
Motion by Edward Caspers, seconded by Hitesh Patel, to nominate Alan Feldman for Vice
President of the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees.
VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
No further nominations for Vice President.
President Torlo requested a motion from the floor to elect Alan Feldman Vice President.
Motion by Edward Caspers, seconded by Ben Kadolph, to elect Alan Feldman Vice
President of the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees.
VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
President Torlo requested a motion from the floor for nominations for Secretary.
Motion by Hitesh Patel, seconded by Alan Feldman, to nominate Edward Caspers for
Secretary of the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees.
VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
No further nominations for Secretary.
President Torlo requested a motion from the floor to elect Edward Caspers Secretary.

Motion by Alan Feldman, seconded by Hitesh Patel, to elect Edward Caspers Secretary of
the Oak Brook Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
a. Approval of Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Minutes of April 18, 2012
Discussion ensued regarding actuarial information in the Minutes and result of Village Board
meeting regarding actuarial assumptions.
Motion by Trustee Patel, seconded by Secretary Caspers, to approve the Minutes of the
April 18, 2012 Regular Board Meeting. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
Motion by Trustee Kadolph, seconded by Secretary Caspers, to adjourn the Board of Trustees of
the Police Pension Fund meeting at approximately 6:21 p.m. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
