Pursuant to the provisions of the so- called Prevailing Wage Act, the State requires that each
June the Village pass an ordinance ascertaining the prevailing rate of wages for various trades
employed in performing construction on public works within the Village. The Illinois Department
of Labor has released statistics relative to such prevailing wage rates for DuPage and Cook
Counties. Attached is an ordinance which adopts these mandated wage rates.

President Bushy commended staff and Trustee Savino for their
efforts of the Zoning Review Committee to update the zoning
issues of our Village Code.

ASCERTAINING THE PREVAILING RATE OF WAGES FOR
LABORERS, WORKERS AND MECHANICS EMPLOYED
IN PUBLIC WORKS IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
DUPAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
Pursuant to the provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act, the State
requires that each June the Village passes an ordinance ascertaining
the prevailing rate of wages for various trades employed in
performing construction on public works within the Village. The
Illinois Department of Labor has released statistics relative to such
prevailing wage rates for DuPage and Cook Counties Ordinance
#2001- PW- WPA -EXI -S -996, "An Ordinance Ascertaining the
Prevailing Rate of Wages for Laborers, Workers and Mechanics
Employed in Public Works in the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage
and Cook Counties, Illinois adopts these mandated wage rates
Motion by Trustee Savino, seconded by Trustee Craig, to approve
Ordinance #2001 -PW-WPA-EX I -S-996, "An Ordinance

Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois ", as presented and

through 130/12 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, and such determination is effective by
Ordinance 200 1 -PW-WPA-EX 1 -S -996 of such Village, passed and approved June 26, 2001.
