of
July 9, 2013
SUBJECT: An Amendment to Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 8A of the Village Code of the Village
of Oak Brook, Illinois Relative to the Number of Authorized Liquor Licenses
FROM: Charlotte K. Pruss, Village Clerk
BUDGET SOURCE/BUDGET IMPACT: N/A
RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move to approve passage of Ordinance G -1005, "An
Ordinance Amending Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 8A of the Village Code of the Village of
Oak Brook, Illinois Relative to the Number of Authorized Liquor Licenses"
Background/Ilistory:
United Fresh and Health, Inc. has decided not to renew their Class A -1 Liquor License for their
restaurant, Freshii Oak Brook located at 3021 Butterfield Road, in the Promenade. Their
decision not to renew their liquor license was to make their restaurant more in line with the other
Freshii franchise restaurant venue. This will decrease the number of A -1 liquor licenses by one,
leaving the total number of A -1 licenses at 22.
Recommendation:
The recommendation is for passage of Ordinance G -1005, which decreases the number of A -1
liquor licenses by one.
