SUBJECT: Licensing of Vending Machines
RECOMMENDATION: That Title 4, Chapter 5, Vending Machines of
the Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook be repealed
When the Village Code was recodified in September, 2000, we intended to delete the section
pertaining to the licensing of vending machines, as this type of licensing has not been in effect
for a number of years.
Because the licensing of vending machines was inadvertently not deleted in the recodification,
we bring before you the attached ordinance which repeals that section of the Village Code.
I understand you will consider this ordinance at your regular meeting on Tuesday, July 24, 2001.
Res ectfully submitted,
Richard A. Martens
