On July 25, 2000, the Board passed Ordinance 2000 -PP -S -968 authorizing the DuPage Mayors
and Managers Conference to sell five of our vehicles at public auction on September 9, 2000.
Since the passage of that ordinance, the Public Works Department has expressed its desire to
retain Unit 308.
As a result, I have drafted the attached ordinance which repeals Ordinance 2000 -PP -S -968 and
amends the list of vehicles selected for public auction.
I understand you will consider this ordinance at your regular meeting on August 22, 2000.
Respectfully submitted,
Richard A. Martens
