RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move that the Village Board adopt the attached ordinance
authorizing the sale of surplus furniture.
Backaround/History:
The attached ordinance includes a secretary return and computer table from an office area that
has been re- configured. These items were located in the Police Records area and have reached
the end of their useful life.
Department Directors were notified that these items where available but none had use for them in
their departments.
Items will be disposed of by first advertising for bids. If no bids are received, they will be offered
to local schools and not- for - profit agencies. Any remaining items will be disposed of.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the Village Board adopt the attached ordinance authorizing the sale of
surplus furniture.

Motion by Trustee Kennedy, seconded by Trustee Manofsky, to approve the Consent
Agenda and authorize expenditures as presented. ROLL CALL VOTE:

Nays- 0 -None.
Absent: 1 - Trustee Aktipis. Motion carried.
