President Howell called for a motion to appoint Mrs. LaVerne Skale as village clerk
pro tem in the absence of Village Clerk Marianne Lakosil.
Trustee Glaves moved - seconded by Trustee Cerne. . .
That Mrs. LaVerne Skale be appointed Village Clerk pro tem in the absence of
Village Clerk Marianne Lakosil.
Voice Vote - all in favor. So ordered.
A. Roll Call
The regular meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by President Howell. All
trustees were present except Trustee Brown.
II READING OF MINUTES
Trustee Philip moved - seconded by Trustee Rush. . .
That the reading of the minutes of the regular meeting of January 11, 1977 be
suspended and that they be accepted as submitted.
Voice vote - all in favor. So ordered.
III ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, VARIATIONS, PLATS, ETC. .
A. Ordinance G-208 amending Ord. G-140 Subdivision Gateways
Trustee Rush moved - seconded by Trustee Philip. ..
That the village board approve the ordinance with the understanding that
the village attorney will revise the ordinance to include recommended
revisions by the Plan Commission and that drawing presented be made an
exhibit of the ordinance.
Roll Call Vote: Ayes - Trustees Cerne, Congreve, Glaves, Philip, Rush
and President Howell
Nays - None
Absent - Trustee Brown So ordered.
B. Oak Brook Christian Center Church - Plat of Subdivision
Trustee Rush moved - seconded by Trustee Cerne. . .
That the recommendation of the Plan Commission be approved including the
installation of decorative entranceway lighting, subject to the approval
of the village engineer, and that the appropriate village officials sign
the Plat.

C. Resolution R-218 for Maintenance of Streets & Highways. - MFT

To adopt this Resolution to provide for the appropriation of $18,000 to
pay for cost of energy for village maintained traffic signal system and
street lighting of Swift Drive, 22nd Street and Jorie Blvd.

Item 6 - Oak Brook Christian Center Church - Final Plat of Subdivision
Reverend David Scott represented the subdivider. He is requesting a one lot
subdivision for the purpose of constructing his Christian Center Facility in
conformance with approved zoning special use and site plan previously reviewed
and approved by the Village.
Member Reynolds asked if Mr. Scott was owner of all property shown.
Mr. Scott indicated that he was.
Member Reynolds noted that the 50 foot dedication along 31st Street should be
clarified and identified in a proper fashion. She further indicated that
sidewalks were not needed in this area, but that street lights should be
provided at entranceways.
Member Reynolds asked if Reverend Scott owned any more continuous property.
He indicated that he did not.
Member Listecki moved - seconded by Member Scott, to recommend approval of
the Oak Brook Christian Center Plat of Subdivision as submitted and that
sidewalks and street lighting standards be waived, but suitable decorative
entranceway lighting be provided, and further, that the building setback lines
along Midwest Road be corrected to 50 feet.
Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Members Reece, Listecki, Noyes, Reynolds, Scott,
Marquardt and Chairman Barton.

C. Oak Brook Christian Center Church-Site Plan Approval
Trustee Brown reviewed the Special. Use Ordinance S-301 approved April 23, 1974,
which was subject to further approval upon final plans .being developed. On
October 18, 1976 the Plan Commission approved the site plan subject to:
the existing frame building on the property be razed not later than
24 months from the issuance of an occupancy permit for Phase I; that
the site plan contain a note prohibiting overnight parking of buses;
the design and relocation of driveways be in accordance with the
Village Engineer's,.recommendation in a:letter.*dated Octbber' 14, 1976;
and that berms and plantings be installed in accordance with the -
Village Engineer's recommendations in a letter dated April 29, 1974 to;
the Zoning and- Planning Committee.
Trustee Brown moved seconded by Trustee .Cerne.'.._
To approve site plan of Oak Brook` Christian°Center` as pre'sented -subject to.
recommendations of Plan Commission.
Rev. Scott requested that he be allowed to begin construction prior to filing
for a Plat of Subdivision. He was advised to proceed with the- Plat on the land
he presently has title' to.
