We wish to extend our gratitude and best wishes
to four directors who left the Friends Board
this past year. Karen Walsh served almost 5
years, most recently as Treasurer. Bev Taylor
served for 6 years as membership co-chair and
volunteer coordinator for the Used Book Sale.
Marge Tresley served for 17 years, most notably
as Editor of the Friends publications. Last but
not least, Barbara Benezra served the Library for
29 years! She started out helping with plans
for a new library, and she served a total of
14 years doing a wonderful job as President of the
Friends Board.
Donations of materials for the Library collections
will be made to commemorate the dedicated service
these individuals gave to the Friends Board. We
appreciate all of their contributions, and we will
miss having them on the Board.
Wed like to welcome three new directors to
the Friends Board: Donna Franklin, Andrea
Holt, and Frankett Kral. We thank them for
their willingness to serve.
