Alan Farnell . . . a true friend
Last fall, the Friends regretfully accepted the resigna-

- among them his chairmanship of the By-Laws

the Sale, sometimes accompanied by his two sons,Tom

is sorely missed, and his contributions are deeply appre-

We congratulate Farnell on an outstanding job. Time
and again, he has proven himself to be a true friend to
our Library, and we thank him for efforts well above and
beyond the call of duty.
