ThIS AUREEMENT, made and entered into this day of
, 1965, by and between the Village of Oakbrook,
a municipal corporation of Illinois (hereinafter called "Oakbrook"),
and the Oakbrook Library Association, a not for profit Illinois
corporation (hereinafter called "Library"),

Library has furnished and is continuing to furnish library
services to the residents of the Village of Oakbrook and desires to
use a portion of the Village Hall of Oakbrook exclusively for
furnishing such services; and
Oakbrook desires to make available to Library, for the
purposes herein described, that portion of the Village hall of
Oakbrook nereinaf ter described;
NOW, THEREFORE, Oakbrook and Library agree as follows:
1. Library may use, exclusively for library purposes,
the large room on the main floor of the Village Hall that is
adjacent to and south of the present aoard of Trustees' meeting
room, together with the smaller anteroom adjacent co and south of
said large room.
2. The apace hereinabove defined is made available to
Library by Oakbrook on an "as is" basis, without warranty of any
kind, and Oakbrook shall not be obligated to furnish water, janitor
or other like or unlike service.
3. Library shall furnish Oakbrook from time to time
evidence satisfactory to Oakbrook with respect to the following
matters, namely:
(a) That Library is continuing to furnish library
services to the re6idanls of the Village of
Oakbrook;
(b) That Library has secured adequate insurance
with companies satisfactory to Oakbrook covering
the risks of:
(1) Loss or damage by fire and other casualties
normally covered by fire and extended
coverage insurance policies usually written
in the State of Illinois, of books, equip-
ment and other property owned by Library
and located on the premises herein described.
(2) Liability resulting from damage to property
of others and injuries to or death of persons
while in or on the premise referred to herein.
4. Library shall keep the premises herein described neat
and orderly; to enforce good order and discipline among all persons
making use of the said premises; and to return the premises to
Oakbrook in at least as good condition as when received, ordinary
wear and tear only excepted.
5. Library shall pay Oakbrook One Dollar for each year,
or portion thereof, that this agreement remains in effect.
6. This agreement may be terminated by either party by
the giving to the other party of not less than ninety days' notice
in writing of its intention to terminate this agreement, such
notice to be deemed to have been given if delivered in person or
sent by United States first class mail, with postage prepaid, to
the other party addressed as follows:

of the foregoing addressed by a notice given in the same manner as
herein provided.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto subscribed
