The Holiday Silent Auction ends on December 3 at noon.
The books are displayed in the Library’s lobby. Winning
bidders will be notified once the auction is concluded. All
monies received will be used to fund Library programs.

Holiday Lights Recycling
November 23, 2016 - January 8, 2017
Have you started decorating for the holidays?
As you go through those strings of lights,
you are bound to find some that don't
work anymore. You can again recycle
those lights at the Library! Look for the
bin in the staff parking lot (across from
the book returns). Any holiday lights will
be accepted by Elgin Recycling
(www.elginrecycling.com). And since the
box is outside, you can donate at any time that is con-
venient for you.

Do you enjoy discussing a good book with friends
while indulging in a tasty snack? We will meet
once per month to discuss a good book while
discovering fun facts about it as well as the author.

creative story time. We will read a story and then do an art

Professional artist, Terri Murphy, will instruct the
children in using liquid concentrate watercolors
and a wax-resist technique creating a sparkling

TAG provides teens with the opportunity to have a voice in their
library. We will discuss and plan future programs and work on
ways to improve the library community. This leadership role also
