MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 21, 2009 MEETING OF THE
AUTUMN FESTIVAL COMMITTEE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK
BROOK APPROVED AS WRITTEN OR AS AMENDED ON
FEBRUARY 18, 2009.
CALL TO ORDER
The Regular Meeting of the Autumn Festival Committee was called to order by Co- Chairman
Deborah Effrein at 7:08 p.m. in the Oak Brook Sports Core Administration Building, 700 Oak
Brook Road, Oak Brook, IL.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Co- Chairmen Deborah Effrein and Iolanda Castellan, and Committee Member
Joyce Antoniolli.
ABSENT: Nelly Naguib and Anthony Chiarito.
IN ATTENDANCE: Mary Meranda, Sports Core Secretary.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a. Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 15, 2008
Motion by Member Castellan, seconded by Member Antoniolli, to approve the minutes of the
October 15, 2008 Autumn Festival Committee meeting as amended. VOICE VOTE: Motion
carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
a. None presented
NEW BUSINESS
a. The Committee discussed the list of entertainment from the 2008 festival and agreed
to repeat all with minor changes for the 2009 festival
b. The Committee discussed the content of the sponsor letter and to follow up with
phone calls after letters are mailed. A separate letter to the 2008 and 2007 sponsors
thanking them for their past support was discussed.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Member Antoniolli, seconded by Member Castellan, to adjourn the meeting at
8:39 p.m.
