Minutes of March 8, 2001
1. MEETING CALL: The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: PRESENT, Adam Butler, Connie Craig, Nuha Dabbouseh, Jan
Lundquist, Ralph Maxson, Barb Nasharr, Bonnie Sartore
ABSENT: Mariette Adrian, Joyce Antoniolli, Michelle Butler, Carolyn Link, Nelly Naguib,
Joan Philip, Tom Truedson.
3. MINUTES of the February 8, 2001 meeting were approved as submitted.
4. DISCUSSION of scanned picture pages. Bonnie presented several examples of the color
photo pages reproduced to give to potential sponsors. The committee decided that all four
pages should be used and it was agreed that additional sets of the promotional pieces should
be made. The committee also decided that we would prepare two different solicitation letters -
one for raffle prizes and one for cash sponsors.
5. PET PARADE: Bonnie will ask the Civic Association to assist with the Pet Parade publicity
and sign up and also to provide us with the labels for our routine Preview Party mailing. The
committee would also like the Civic Association to run the "Elected Officials Best Pet
Contest ". Bonnie will follow up.
6. MARIONETTE SHOW: The committee voted to contract for the highly touted marionette
show recommended by Joyce Antoniolli and asked her to secure a contract from them.
7. ADJOURNMENT: 8:45 p.m.
