Ethnic Fest Committee
Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club
Meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m.

The list of committee members (attached) was discussed, with Marge Tresley to be added. Roy
Cripe will be added to the stationery under the "staff' list, i.e. Bonnie Sartore and Karen

Bonnie reported that she has ten host couples from the subdivisions for the Saturday night party
Barbara Nashaar offered to host Bnarwood. Bonnie brought merchandise samples from Special -
T for the committee to look at. They will make up a couple samples that Bonnie will have on
Oak Brook Day It was decided to go with a hat with the logo (Barbara suggested to make the
hats red to go with the theme) and a long- sleeve T -shirt in red with a black - and -white logo Our
cost will be $8.50. Shirts will be ordered in XL, as well as children's sizes The budget for
merchandise is $5,000
Bonnie will get samples of glassware. A souvenir beer stein will be available, with the Oak
Brook seal on the back and the Ethnic Fest logo on the front Other items will include plastic
totes with logos to hand out to people as they come in and water bottles from Dunlop with a
logo
Invitations to the Saturday night party will be included in the Civic Association newsletter. The
history of polo will be included in the Ethnic Fest book, since this is the 75th anniversary of polo
in Oak Brook.
If desired, Pacific Wine will do a private -label wine to sell in red wine and white wine. We will
also ask for wine bags.
The next meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m Thursday, June 12, at the OBBT. Meeting was
adjourned at 8:30 p m
