9. Teenage entertainment: will include a D.J. in the Clubhouse. Bonnie also suggested hiring
the "One -Man Band" who has provided music on several occasions for Polo and the B & T.
10. Partv Hosts and Hostesses: will be included in the mailing for the opening party. This
gives residents an option of calling someone in their neighborhood to be seated with others
from the same area in an effort to "get to know your neighbors ".
11. Next meeting: July 8, Sports Core Administration Building.

MINUTES from the meeting of May 13, 1999 were approved.

SPONSOR LETTER: Copies of the Sponsor letter were distributed for comment and
revision. Changes in categories and sponsor incentives were made. Much discussion also
involved the possibility of creating a wooden or metal sculpture of a tree with sponsor names
on the leaves. Since the groundbreaking for the library will be the same day as the Autumn
Fest, the committee also discussed the possibility of donating the sculpture to the library after
the Autumn Fest as a reminder of our sponsors.
5.
RAFFLE DONATIONS: A draft letter asking for raffle donations was also discussed and
revised. This letter will be mailed with the Preview Party invitation and information. Denise
will also see that requests for sponsors and raffle donations are published in the Civic
Association Newsletter.
6.
Entertainment: Sue Santefort will be the coordinator of this year's entertainment. At this

point in time, the Downers Grave Choral Group has committed to being in attendance and
several others have indicated an interest.

Crafters: An ad will be placed in the local papers seeking crafters. The plan is to charge
crafters $25.00 per table. We will let crafters know that they may bring their own tents to
provide shade.
