ROLL CALL: PRESENT, Joyce Antoniolli, Adam Butler, Connie Craig, Nuha Dabbouseh, Jan Lundquist, Carolyn Link, Barb Nasharr, Nelly Naguib, Joan Philip, Bonnie Sartore ABSENT: Mariette Adrian, Michelle Butler, Christy Cushing, Ralph Maxson, Nelly Naguib, Tom Truedson ALSO PRESENT: Linda Lojewski 3. Minutes : There were no minutes of the previous meeting to approve as the meeting was a working meeting. The committee met informally on August 15 to stuff envelopes for the village wide Autumn Fest mailing. 4. Raffle Gifts: Adam announced that Tiffany's would be donating several items — a scarf, a pen set and some stationery. Raffle prizes are still being solicited. It was decided to use several of the raffle prizes for door prizes on the night of the Preview Party. Bonnie will choose several prizes. 5. Identification badges: Committee members and volunteers will be given badges for the day. 6. Volunteers: A couple of people have volunteered as a result of the mailing. Committee members present signed up for a volunteer time slot. Joan Philip will also ask Civic Association Board members to volunteer. Joan will print the raffle tickets and Joyce will take care of Preview Party tickets. 7. Pet Parade: The committee decided to distribute Pet Parade applications through the school as some members feared parents may have received the information in the mailing and not mentioned it to their children. Eight people have registered thus far. Flyers will be distributed to both Brook Forest and Butler Schools the week of Sept. 17. All participants will receive a certificate. Bonnie will get presentation ribbons and continue to work with Officers Ramirez and Mucha to organize the parade. A letter will be sent to all village board and commission members encouraging them to participate with their pets. 8. Preview Party: Bonnie stated the Buffet will be served on the covered veranda and food will be served by staff rather than having guests serve themselves. A strolling musician will entertain during dinner. It was recommended it be soft background music with no amplification. Valet parking will be ordered for guests. 9. Postcards: Reminder postcards will be mailed the week before the event to all residents. B & T members also were mailed Autumn Fest information and reservations forms for the Preview Party. 10. Adjournment: 8:15 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Linda Loj ewski
