MINUTES OF THE OAK BROOK BATH & TENNIS COMMITTEE
MEETING HELD MARCH 18, 1993

The meeting was called to order at 9:30a.m. The minutes
were approved. Starr, Ellie, Pam, Joyce, Faye, Tom and Joe
were present.
Tom reported:
Courts 7 & 8 will for sure be resurfaced and possibly paint-
ed two toned. Joe is in charge of the new pool awnings. A 10
by 10 awning has been ordered for the check in area, and a 30 by
16 will be adjacent to the diving well. Sandblasting will be
done on all three diving boards. The high dive will be seal
coated with a more durable paint. Retiling and painting will
be done in both the diving well and the baby pool.
Joe reported:
The Clubhouse interior has been stained and the kitchen
roof repaired. All capital_ items are subject to review by the
management. A Club Food Manager has been hired for seasonal
work. He will put together a new plan and meet with Joe, Pam,
and Joyce. Joe is researching natural fresh products to be
sold. He -is working on relocatyn6 tr'ic dumps ter and obtaining
recycling bins to be placed in various locations.
The committee will look to promoting the social memberships
so residents are aware of availability. Pam and Joe will talk
to Karen Bushy about mentioning this in her next newsletter.
The committee will work to produce a directory for next
season.

The tennis bubble contracts are up for bidding. Contrac-
tors have been coming by to take a look and get the information
they will need to submit a bid.
Starr and Faye read over the brochure and noted mistakes
that were printed.
We further discussed our opposition to the $1 sur charge
at the tennis courts. Tom will relay our opinion.
Tom will talk to Vince Long about possibly giving five
guest passes to members who sign up before May 15th.
We adjourned at 11:00.
Our next meeting is April 15th in the Clubhouse at 9:30a.m.
