POOL
Pan Pawlowski and Faye Elbaz toured the pool area on Friday, May 10th.
x
:pectations were high as Mr. McAdams had promised that all three pools would
be repainted and that all bad tiles would be replaced. As of this date, only
the small and middle pools had indeed been painted, and only a small portion
of the tiles had been replaced. Approximately 50 more damaged tiles still
need to be replaced. The job that had been done was horribly sloppy. Some
straight edged tiles were used instead of rounded tops, and grout had been
allowed to set for days without being cleaned off properly. The committee
aZreed the work was unacceptable. The pools were beginning to be filled. 41hen
asked, Mr. 1,.cAdams said he had approved the work. The committee feels this
wort should not be paid for and has documented this worlI with photos. Our
frustations also exists because all of this necessary work should have been
done as promised long ago. The pool is scheduled to be used on 5- 23 -91.
Ccott Krueger and Renee Cronin also toured the B9:T. Reports from them include:
concrete work around the pool at the 331:j' corner of the large pool was completed

We have a short supply of lounge chairs. When a--I :cd why, IIr. I:cAdams stated
that the chairs with defective straps will be replaced. We asked if these
ar"e the chairs located in the "junk yard" area at the NE, corner of the clay
torahs courts. Approximately 30 to 40 lounge chairs have been exposed to the
elements over the winter and some are in disrepair. Along with these chairs are
a, water fountain, bricks' crates, and a broken tennis ball hopper. Mr. Ecdams
stated this is the responsibility of the pool manager and he would check with
her regarding the chairs.
I,:c4dams also promised that the trench (approximately 150' ) to the north
of the pool area will be landscaped before openin[ day.
'Ir. I icAdams reminded the coinnittee that he had not recommended the McGoo Pool
Company but it was the choice of the pool manager and the Buildings and Grounds

length. With hesitation we agreed with Deb Pederson that these suits are not
acceptable. In our next mailing, using liability as a preface, an announcement
will be printed stating this regulation. It will also be posted. The large
raft situation will also be kept an eye on by Deb Pederson as well as high -
