MINUTES OF THE B & T ADVISORY COMMITTEE
HELD NOVEMBER 14, 1991
The meeting was called to order at 9:05 A.M. by Chair
Pitsch, minutes of the previous meeting were approved as
written. Chair requested minutes be sent directly to Mr.
McAdams. Trustee Krafthefer updated us on status of "action"
items for sports core re: maintenance needs. The list of
costs is being prepared by staff for our priortization by
Monday, November 18. Our committee will reconvene at 6:30 P.
M. on November 18, 1991, to review costs and rank items by
need. Mr. McAdams agreed to give us figures on the 1990 -1991
year.
Pam passed out copies of notes regarding social events
planned for the next season. Social volunteers felt Sunday
night family style events would be beneficial to members.
The first Sunday of each month was recommended. Mr. McAdams
reported expanded hours of but and bar showed increased
revenues. A discussion followed regarding pros and cons of
private parties on Saturdays. Trustee Krafthefer suggested
removing clubhouse from B &T statements, but keeping but open
and charge to B &T. The idea of a financially freestanding
• restaurant was discussed. We agreed but is needed.
Mr. McAdams informed us of his recommendations for a new
fee structure:
1) Effective 2 -1 -92, an initiation fee /capital improve-
ment is due of $700 (family membership); a discount
will be offered of $350 if paid prior to 2 -1 -92.
2) Monthly dues of $60 due.
3) Non - payment by 2 -1 -92 requires an initiation fee of
$700
4) Social memberships will require an initiation fee of
$60 by 2 -1 -92, then $10 per month ($120 after
2- 1 -92). Social membership would include 2 swim
passes.
Committee voted to support the proposal of the
initiation fee and monthly billing, but is concerned about
added overhead (additional personnel, postage, costs of paper
and envelopes) and mailing costs.
We support the increased fee for social members but
• question the added costs of monthly billing. We do not
endorse free passed to B &T or golf course for social members.
5) 24 polo players recently joined the B &T. We were
assured they a l l payed f u l l fees.

and diving board handrails are replaced.
